Communication for social network activism campaignsThis is a featured page

a

Goals

  • Highlight challenges on this issue faced by campaigns that use multiple social networks
  • Provide success stories and example best practices
  • Identify opportunities for improvement: better using existing technologies, developing new technologies

Potential formats

We could package this section in several didfferent ways, for example ...
  • A panel discussion with people from three different campaigns discussing their experiences and highlighting contrasts
  • An interactive session at the Workshop on Activism and Education using Social Networks, with an emphasis on instruction as well as sharing knowledge
  • "5-minute" presentations from six to eight campaigns with discussion time afterwards

Working notes

These will eventually develop into a proposal ... for now it's just surveying some existing campaigns
